SPCP Unveils Licensing Collaborations for The Last of Us

March 14, 2025

Sony Pictures Consumer Products has announced a slate of new licensing partners for The Last of Us TV series.
Inspired by the series’ upcoming second season, the new licensees will offer a wide selection of products that are based on themes, visual elements and props from the show’s fictional dystopian future.
“The Last of Us captivates audiences with its profound storytelling and rich character development, blending emotional depth with a hauntingly immersive world,” said Sony Pictures Entertainment EVP, Jamie Stevens. “Our brand partners were carefully selected given their strong integration to the content and themes of HBO’s uniquely captivating show and were tapped to bring fans even deeper into the storyline with familiar products that blur the line between the real world and the unpredictable world of The Last of Us.”
The new licensing partners include Alice Mushrooms, Four Sigmatic, Wrangler, Taylor Guitars and Timberland.
Known for its mushroom-infused chocolate, Alice Mushrooms has developed a limited-edition functional chocolate supplement inspired by the civilization ending fungus featured in The Last Of Us.
Available for pre-order beginning on March 15, Alice Mushrooms is offering a co-branded dark chocolate treat called Brainstorm that incorporates a blend of real-world cordyceps mushrooms.

Officially launching on April 1, Four Sigmatic has developed a new functional coffee product called The Last Of Us Organic Ground High Caf Coffee.
Offering a smooth taste with notes of dark chocolate, the licensed product is made with dark roast Arabica coffee, Vitamin B12, coffee bean extract, lion’s mane and cordyceps mushrooms.
Wrangler is planning to unveil two new capsule collections inspired by the central locations featured in The Last of Us season two.
Launching in line with the season premiere on April 13, the first capsule collection will be tied to Jackson, Wyoming; which serves as Joel and Ellie’s home base at the start of the season.
The second collection will launch halfway through the series and will be inspired by plot points that occur in Seattle, Washington.
Both of the Wrangler collections will include jackets, shirts, jeans, cargos and hats that feature the show’s rugged aesthetic with cordyceps-inspired camo patterns and color-branded accents.
The acoustic instrument manufacturer, Taylor Guitars, has been selected for a licensed product that is directly inspired by elements of the show’s main plotline.
The brand will unveil its collaboration with Sony Pictures Consumer Products shortly after the season premiere.
Set to debut in September 2025, the Timberland footwear brand is releasing a themed version of its Original Timberland Boot, which is worn by main characters’ throughout The Last of Us series.
This new product lineup marks the first licensing initiative inspired by The Last of Us television series since the show first began in 2023.
