Registration for the annual Licensing Expo trade show in June is now open on the event’s official website.
Organized by Informa Markets and sponsored by Licensing International, Licensing Expo is the world’s largest tradeshow dedicated to licensing and brand extension.
The event brings more than 5,000 brands and 16,000 retailers, licensees, manufacturers, distributors, and licensing agents together from more than 70 countries.
The core theme for the 2023 event will focus on the fashion industry. According to Licensing International’s 2022 Global Licensing Industry Study, the fashion industry is the largest licensed product category for the international market. In 2021, retail sales of licensed merchandise within the fashion category reached approximately $90 billion dollars.
“As we continue to see growth in imaginative collaborations and product ranges across the licensing and fashion spheres, this year’s event will be the place to discover the many ways in which fashion is driving licensing conversations and experiences,” said Global Licensing Group SVP, Anna Knight.
The upcoming 2023 Licensing Expo will explore the theme through a range of events that include educational sessions, social networking and experiential activations.
These events will include two keynote speeches that explore licensing trends within the fashion market from prominent industry executives.
The Expo will also feature several fashion showrooms dedicated to displaying licensed apparel, accessories and footwear in numerous retail categories.
In addition, attendees of the event will be able to connect with hundreds of fashion licensees and manufacturers through the exhibition space.
Other notable events include a licensed footwear showcase and a sustainability-focused education experience created in partnership with Products of Change.
“After the success of last year’s show, I’m excited to see how the Fashion theme can add to the experience and buzz on the show floor. We saw a record-breaking retail attendance for the show’s return in 2022 and this year will be even more special,” said Knight.
Licensing Expo 2023 is scheduled to take place from June 13 to 15 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. Registration for the upcoming event is available through the official Licensing Expo website.
