Spin Master and Paramount Consumer Products are launching a collection of licensed Dora toys for the brand’s 25th anniversary.
Created in collaboration with Nickelodeon Animation, the licensed Dora collection features a range of interactive playsets, musical toys and character-themed dolls.
Featuring several Spanish vocabulary and musical components, the product range is designed to appeal to young children ages 3 and up who are fans of Dora’s animated series.
“Dora is an iconic character with an enduring legacy having inspired generations of preschoolers to be curious and brave explorers,” said Spin Master president, Doug Wadleigh. “Our new collection brings Dora’s spirit to today’s fans and families, sparking playtime exploration, encouraging learning new languages and celebrating Dora’s world of adventures.”
Some of the highlights from the collection include an interactive Dance With Me Dora doll, an Explore & Play Rainforest Casita playset, a My Adventure Backpack and Dora’s Rainforest Rhythms Microphone.
Dance With Me Dora is a 12-inch doll that dances and twirls to songs and phrases from the show with a push of her shoes.
The licensed doll comes with a special collectible card, two colorful skirts and barrettes.
The Explore & Play Rainforest Casita is a multi-level rainforest playset that features seven interactive areas, sounds and songs from the show, character figures and a Spanish vocabulary collector’s card.
Inspired by Dora’s signature backpack, the My Adventure Backpack stands 8 inches tall and features moving eyes and a mouth, a retractable map, binoculars and a compass.
Dora’s Rainforest Rhythms Microphone features a kid-sized design with recordings of Dora’s favorite songs and phrases from the show.
“We are thrilled to partner with Spin Master where innovation is at the heart of everything they do,” said Paramount Consumer Products SVP, Lourdes Arocho. “Bringing that spirit to our beloved Dora is truly exciting. The Dora toy line captures everything young explorers need for their next adventure.”
The licensed collection official debuts on July 1 in the U.S. on Amazon, followed by releases at Target and Walmart later this summer.
