Angry Birds Releases New Zzzopa Spinner Ball in Deal With PMI

The hit mobile gaming brand Angry Birds has expanded its toy lines with the new Zzzopa Spinner Ball from PMI Trading.

The licensing deal between Angry Birds rights holder Rovio Entertainment and PMI Trading & Enterprise was brokered by IMG, a global licensing agency.

Achieving massive success in the market, Rovio’s Angry Birds will be the first-ever license for PMI’s growing Zzzopa Spinner ball line.

“Rovio’s mission is to craft joy and we’re positive that working with PMI most certainly increases the amount of joy in the world! Together with PMI, we can bring more joy, laughter and fun to kids and Angry Birds fans around the world,” said Katri Chacona, Director, Brand Licensing at Rovio.

PMI’s innovative Zzzopa Ball will be released with an Angry Birds theme, thanks to a licensing deal with Rovio Entertainment.

The innovative ball is engineered for both indoor and outdoor play. Zzzopa is a creative combination of a fun spinner which helps cope with stress and anxiety, and an exciting and fun ball encouraging creative play and social activity.

Set to launch this fall, the patented Angry Birds Zzzopa ball will be available worldwide in four designs.

“Collaborating with highly popular mega-brands such as Rovio’s Angry birds is part of PMI’s strategy for our sensational Zzzopa Spinner Ball,” said Omer Dekel, VP International Sales at PMI. “As well as the fun and joy it brings, playing with the Angry Birds Zzzopa ball may also improve cognitive capabilities, hand to eye coordination, physical fitness, agility and even help develop imagination.

“PMI is focused on the growth of our IP portfolio. We are quick to react to tomorrow’s trends and get new lines out to the market fast. We continue to partner with the hottest gaming and toy brands and expand our top-quality product and toy lines, bringing winning products to consumers at affordable prices.”

Launched by Rovio Entertainment in 2009, Angry Birds is a Finnish entertainment franchise born from a mobile game.

One of the most recognizable entertainment brands, Angry Birds boasts more than 5 billion downloads, 25 million followers across social media, and has inspired films and the new Netflix series Angry Birds: Summer Madness.
