Point Reyes and Golden State Cider Launch Cheesy Retail Campaign

June 25, 2025

By Allison Watkinson

TLL Reporter

Point Reyes Farmstead has partnered with Golden State Cider for a collaborative retail campaign called Ciders & Sliders.

The Ciders & Sliders campaign includes a wide variety of activations like in-store retail promotions, live experiences, digital content, sweepstakes, chef-created recipes and more.

Taking place throughout the summer, the two brands are offering a full suite of promotional materials to participating retail partners across the West Coast.

These materials include co-branded social media content made by chef influencers, in-store displays with recipe and cider pairings, recipe pads with QR codes, digital coupons and retail sweepstakes with curated gift baskets.

“What excites us most about partnering with Golden State Cider is how naturally our products complement each other—it’s not just about pairing flavors,” said Point Reyes co-owner, Lynn Giacomini Stray. “It’s about giving people new ways to enjoy quality, local craftsmanship. We’re seeing retailers really embrace these kinds of partnerships because they know their customers are looking for authentic experiences that go beyond ordinary grocery shopping,” added Stray. “It’s incredibly rewarding to work alongside other Sonoma and Marin County producers who share our commitment to excellence.”

Two of the recipes included in the campaign are created by Food Network celebrity chef, Duskie Estes, and one of the recipes was crafted by Next Level Chef contestant, Cody Candelario.

All three of these chef-created recipes incorporate Point Reyes cheese products, in addition to a suggested Golden State Cider beverage pairing.

The official slider recipes from Chef Duskie Estes are titled Bacon, Egg and Pimento featuring TomaRashi and Chopped Italian featuring TomaTruffle.

Chef Cody Candelario’s recipe contribution is called Sauerkraut Smash with Kimchi TomaRashi.

Debuting on June 28, the collaboration will kick off with a live Taproom Event at Golden State Cider’s Sebastopol location.

The live culinary event will feature live demonstrations from the celebrity chefs, as well as product tastings and regional media attendance.

Rolling out throughout June and July, customers can find the co-branded promotions and recipes in-store and online through select retail partners across California, Oregon and Washington.

Founded in 2012, Golden State Cider produces premium craft ciders using locally-sourced ingredients and traditional manufacturing techniques.

Based in California, Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company is a women-owned dairy farm and artisan cheese creamery that focuses on sustainable and eco-friendly agriculture.
