Teddy Mountain UK is set to release a licensed make-a-bear plush toy based on Gromit from Aardman’s Wallace & Gromit franchise.
Available in the UK on April 25, the upcoming Gromit plush follows last year’s debut of a licensed plush toy inspired by Aardman’s Shaun the Sheep character IP.
“The hugely successful release of our Shaun the Sheep make-a-bear plush underscores our winning strategy of licensing high profile IP, led by these wonderful Aardman characters,” said Teddy Mountain UK director, Ryan Davies. “Gromit is a British national treasure and we are thrilled to welcome him into the Teddy Mountain family.”

Created by Nick Park and produced by Aardman Animation, Wallace & Gromit is a a claymation entertainment franchise that was first introduced in the 1989 special titled, A Grand Day Out.
The franchise follows an eccentric inventor named Wallace and his intelligent and sardonic dog called Gromit as they get involved in intriguing adventures and humorous mishaps.
Since its initial debut in A Grand Day Out, Wallace & Gromit have starred in several other stop-motion projects for TV, film, augmented reality and VR gaming.
Co-founded by Peter Lord and David Sproxton, Aardman is an independent, employee-owned animation company that produces award-winning stop-motion animated series, feature films, interactive entertainment, games and advertising.
Through its Aardman Academy division, the studio offers a variety of animation courses that range from intensive one-day workshops to a seven-month In-Studio stop motion course.
