Broad Street Licensing Group brings an edgy, fresh look at food licensing with a wide range of interesting guests on “The Royalty Report”

Broad Street Licensing Group is helping liven up the conversation around food and beverage licensing with a new podcast, The Royalty Report.
A top licensing agency in food and restaurant brands, Broad Street created The Royalty Report as a way “to bring fun, information, and entertainment to the food licensing business.”
The show is hosted by Peter Cross and Trevor Graham, and reminds me a bit of the hugely popular interview podcast ‘Hot Ones’, in which the host interviews celebrities while they try to down increasingly hot chicken wings.
Much less sadistic, but equally witty, The Royalty Report sees Cross and Graham ‘grilling’ industry experts on the world of brand licensing, as their guests attempt to chow down through various “food gauntlets.” That might include trademark-themed treats, spicy IP-infused meals, or as in the current season, a gamut of brand licensed cereals.
“Our goal is to bring a new and fun way to talk about the brand licensing industry in an easily digestible and fresh way,” jokes Cross.
This season’s guests, who I suppose could be referred to as the ‘cereal killers’, munch their way through products like the Wendy’s Frosty, IHOP Mini Pancake, CinnaFUEGO Toast Crunch, PEEPS, ICEE, and Sour Patch Kids cereals, while revealing their insights into the complex world of brand licensing.
We’ve created a show that’s not only entertaining, but we bring on top industry experts from every corner of the business showcasing the variety of dynamic perspectives each one brings,” Graham says.
The show itself is light-hearted and breezy, so it’s as fun as it is informative; sort of like a nice, light snack that’s actually good for you.
