Dr. Seuss Enterprises has renewed and expanded its partnership with Little Dot Studios to further grow its YouTube channel with new content.
The partnership renewal comes after a massive surge in viewers and subscriptions for the Dr. Seuss channel that resulted from the two companies previous collaboration last year.
The enhanced licensing agreement will build on this growth, as well as introduce a new preschool series called Seuss Circle Time.
“As we think about where to bring the iconic IP of Dr. Seuss, we are always looking at where the next generation of fans are spending their time,” said Dr. Seuss Enterprises CEO, Susan Brandt. “With so much family co-viewing happening on YouTube, we felt it was important to take a deliberate approach to building out our channel with high quality, entertaining content. In collaboration with Little Dot Studios, we have been able to quickly, and successfully, scale this destination into a hub that lets millions of fans delight in the iconic Dr. Seuss characters they love on a daily basis.”
Scheduled to premiere on June 20, 2025, Seuss Circle Time will debut with an 8-week summer takeover on the Dr. Seuss YouTube channel.
It will feature new episodes designed to promote early childhood learning through singing, dancing, stories and interactive play.
Hosted by Ziggy, Tizzie and a variety of Dr. Seuss’ characters, each episode features music, games and learning activities in imaginative settings like the Circle Time House and Truffula Forest.
Regular weekly half-hour episodes will debut every Friday for the eight weeks, before switching to monthly one-hour episodes in September.
Beyond the Seuss Circle Time series, Little Dot Studios has worked with Dr. Seuss Enterprises to produce two additional new series called Crafty Fun with The Cat in the Hat and Learn to Draw with Dr. Seuss Babies.
“This renewal enables us to build on our proven creative success and push boundaries with fresh storytelling and educational content that honours Dr. Seuss’s spirit,” said Little Dot Studios co-managing director, James Loveridge. “With our deep understanding of YouTube and children’s media, we’re proud to help grow the brand’s legacy by reaching families across the U.S. and beyond. Dr. Seuss characters are already so beloved, and we are confident that audiences are going to relish viewing their favourite characters in new and interesting ways.”
Seuss Circle Time follows a slate of previously announced original programming produced by Little Dot Studios.
This additional programming includes the Dr. Seuss Storytime series, Learn to Read with Dr. Seuss Babies, The Lorax’s Nature Keeper’s Club, The Cat in the Hat’s Quirky Quiz and Draw Your Dream Pet.
The animation for the licensed Dr. Seuss content is created through Little Dot Studios long-standing partner, Electric Studios (part of the Electric Theatre Collective).
