9 Story Media Group and Karma’s World Entertainment have announced the accelerated growth of their licensing program for the animated property Karma’s World.
The new deals were secured by 9 Story Brands, which is the consumer products and brand management division of 9 Story Media Group. 9 Story Brands is known for building international entertainment brands for kids and families.
“We are so excited to welcome new partners to the program,” said Kyra Halperin Co-VP of Consumer Products at 9 Story Brands.
“We’re confident that the groundbreaking innovations and never-before-seen products that each new partner offers will help bring the story and messaging of Karma’s World to life in new and exciting ways,” Halperin added.
“We’re happy to be sharing this news during the Licensing Expo to kick off these amazing new partnerships and celebrate a product line that will help empower kids across the globe to be their best, most authentic selves.”
The product extensions for Karma’s World include watches, backpacks, footwear, drinkware and more. Karma’s World now has over 40 licensees across multiple product categories. This includes global partnerships with Mattel, Scholastic and Universal Music Group.
The newly announced licensing partners include:
- Rubies for Halloween costumes.
- Accutime for a line of watches.
- Sunstaches for visual accessories.
- Sprayground for co-branded bags and backpacks.
- Trends for a line of posters and stickers.
- ISlide USA for print-on-demand footwear.
- Prime 3D for a line of lenticular puzzles.
- Zak Designs for a line of drinkware, dinnerware, flatware.
- IG Design Group for Valentine’s Day Cards and Easter seasonal products.
Additional licensees that were previously announced include Isaac Morris, Hybrid Apparel, Franco Manufacturing, KIDdesigns, Crayola, Ground Up International, Fashion Angels and more.
Karma’s World premiered globally on Netflix in October 2021. The animated series follows 10-year-old Karma Grant, an aspiring musical artist and rapper with big dreams.
Every episode is infused with hip-hop music, streetwear fashion, and original choreography. The series focuses on themes of self-expression, identity, leadership, and the importance of community. A second season launched in March 2022 and a third season is coming soon.
The series was created by Karma’s World Entertainment. Founded by Chris Bridges, Karma’s World Entertainment is an entertainment media company dedicated to helping kids develop self-esteem, healthy living, and leadership skills through music and problem-solving educational programs.
Chris Bridges, sometimes professionally known as ‘Ludacris’ is a successful actor, producer, entrepreneur, pop-music artist, and philanthropist.
In 2001, Bridges founded the non-profit organization called The Ludacris Foundation. This organization seeks to inspire youth through education, community engagement, and economic development.
