Billboard and Hot Topic Join Forces to Launch Collection of 50 Standout Tee Shirts Inspired by Pop Culture & Music
Hot Topic, the ultimate retail destination for music fans, has tapped Billboard, renowned music authority, to launch a limited-edition collection inspired by past, present and future iterations of music culture.
Billboard is a global music media brand, and a renowned authority among artists, fans and the industry. Billboard powers the ultimate global music destination and magazine, featuring unrivaled reporting on music news, issues and trends, the industry’s definitive music charts, encompassing the most complete and well-respected database of charts across all music genres.
The new range includes 50 standout tee-shirt designs that celebrate the power of music across generations and fuse pop culture trends with historic retro influences. As one of the most influential music brands in the world, Billboard brings its authority in the industry to the one-of-a-kind collection, capturing some of the most defining moments in music history.
“Music has the power to drive different aspects of culture, especially fashion,” said Julian Holguin, president of Billboard. “We’re thrilled to partner with Hot Topic, a retailer known for its celebration of individuality, to honor music’s unique influence and share Billboard’s content with fans through exciting verticals.”
The partnership marks the Billboard brand’s first domestic licensing launch after joining P-MRC Holdings, a joint venture between MRC and Penske Media Corporation, in September of 2020. ARTIFECT, a leading consumer-facing consulting firm, brokered the agreement.
The full Billboard collection is now available exclusively on HotTopic.com. Founded in 1989, Hot Topic operates 650 stores in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico and an online store.
