Crayola Experience Partners with Children’s Foundation for Holiday Event

December 2, 2022

By Allison Watkinson

Crayola Experience has partnered with the First Responders Children’s Foundation on a licensed charity prize event for the holidays.

The charity prize event allows customers to sign up for a free spin of the Holiday Prize Wheel which gives a chance to win mystery prizes ranging in value from $1 to $28 each.

Each participating Crayola Experience location will be gifting up to $62,500 dollars worth of products and Crayola Experience adventures through the month-long holiday giveaway.

In all, up to $250,000 in prizes can be received by Crayola Experience customers. Crayola Experience will match the value of all the prizes with a donation of equal value to the First Responders Children’s Foundation.

Crayola Experience is a family-friendly indoor experiential attraction franchise based on the Crayola art supply brand. Crayola Experience destinations engage families in creative play through interactive activities.

The attractions also include The Crayola Store which features a large selection of Crayola brand products such as plush characters, souvenirs, and apparel. The venues range in size from 20,000 to 70,000 square feet.

“We’re tickled pink, green, yellow, and orange by Crayola Experience’s kaleidoscopic generosity,” said Jillian Crane, President and CEO, First Responders Children’s Foundation.
“Its Holiday Color Wheel prize giveaway will thrill young participants and brighten the holiday spirits of countless first responder families. Who knew philanthropy and goodwill could come in such a brilliant array of colors?”

On Dec. 1 the first spin of the holiday color wheel was celebrated with first responder-themed festivities at four Crayola Experience locations across the US. During the celebrations, kids were able to take a spin of the color wheel, meet local first responders, check out emergency vehicles, and create themed crafts.

“At Crayola, we believe that creatively inspired kids grow up to be creatively inspired adults. And what can be more inspiring than the first responders who put themselves on the front lines for us every day,” said Rich Wuerthele, President and CEO, Crayola.
“Like the First Responders Children’s Foundation, we are dedicated to helping children and families and this donation is our thank you to the true blue heroes for looking out for our families and the well-being of our communities.”

The First Responders Children’s Foundation is a national charity organization that provides programs and resources for children and families of first responders in the US.

The programs and resources provided include scholarships, financial assistance, bereavement grants, mental and behavioral health services, and community engagement programs. The First Responders Children’s Foundation was founded over 21 years ago in response to the impact of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The sign-up registration for the Crayola Experience Holiday Prize Giveaway event began on December 1st and ends on Dec. 31. The Crayola Experience destinations that are participating in the event are located in Pennsylvania, Florida, Texas, and Arizona.
