Health & Beauty Licensing: Care Bears Get Wet n Wild in Licensing Deal

Wet n wild Beauty and Cloudco Entertainment have partnered to launch a limited-edition beauty collection for Care Bears 40th Anniversary.

“Care Bears fans have been asking for a beauty collection for quite some time now, and we’re ecstatic that we’re able to share a full collection of such colorful, iconic, and fun pieces to celebrate the Care Bears’ 40th Anniversary,” said Cristina Villegas, VP of Licensing, North America for Cloudco Entertainment. “We couldn’t ask for a better partner in wet n wild, and can’t wait to see these pieces fly off the shelves!”

Villegas says the high-spirited collection is full of vibrant pigments, playful accessories, soothing skincare, and childhood nostalgia.

The wet n’ wild licensed Care Bears collection features products in the categories of makeup, skincare, face and body, cosmetic tools, nails, and accessories.

The full collection will be available in-store and online at key retailers. Ulta.com will exclusively carry the Care Bears PR box—a limited-edition set featuring the entire collection.

A division of Markwins Beauty Products, wet n wild is the top-selling value beauty brand in North America. Founded by Eric Chen more than 35 years ago, the company is recognized as a Top 20 purveyor in the global cosmetic industry.

The Care Bears brand was first introduced in 1982 through consumer products and greeting cards. The brand went on to star in a series of animated television shows and feature films.

In 2022, the Care Bears are celebrating 40 years through the launch of new consumer products with key retail partners and a range of new toys with Basic Fun. The Care Bears brand is owned by Cloudco Entertainment.

Cloudco Entertainment is an entertainment studio with a wide range of popular licensed properties. The company is known for developing multi-platform entertainment franchises across all media channels, as well as extensive consumer merchandising programs.
