King Features Syndicate has announced that the Rebel Girls brand is joining its roster of licensing properties.
Under the terms of the licensing agreement, King Features will represent Rebel Girls worldwide for promotions, collaborations, and merchandise.
King Features is currently seeking new licensing partners for the brand across all categories to further develop its global merchandising program.
“Rebel Girls is excited to launch this next phase of our licensing business with female-led King Features,” said Jes Wolfe, CEO of Rebel Girls.

Rebel Girls is a multi-platform empowerment brand dedicated to inspiring girls through content, experiences, products, and community.
Since publishing its first book in 2016, Rebel Girls has told the stories of more than 2,000 real-life women through its book and podcast series.
In 2021, the brand launched the Rebel Girls App, a digital platform that offers an online and offline storytelling experience.
Rebel Girls’ current consumer products program and brand partnerships include Mad Engine, Build-a-Bear, PlayStories, Nike, Google, Hasbro, and more.

Rebel Girls is the latest brand to join King Features’ portfolio of licensed properties which includes both long-standing clients and other recent IP additions such as Pucca, Moomin and Crazy Frog.
King Features is a producer and distributor of intellectual properties, character licensing and franchise development. The company also distributes comics, columns, editorial cartoons and puzzles across multiple platforms.
