Konami Hops Into Game Shows With Frogger Deal

The gaming company Konami is taking the fun to the small screen, with a new game show based on its popular hit video game Frogger.

The Peacock Original series Frogger is premiered Sunday, Oct. 3 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on YTV as part of its ‘Fam Fun’ weekend lineup.

Frogger stars hosts Damon Wayans Jr. and Kyle Brandt, and promises to test skill, strategy and strength as contestants go through incredible obstacle courses in the hope of bringing home $100,000!

The new and extremely physical competition series is based on the beloved and iconic 1980s video game from Konami and invites contestants from across the US to test their physical prowess and problem-solving skills on a variety of epic and imaginative obstacle courses, filled with challenges from the classic game.

From dodging traffic to leapfrogging gators to hurdling hippos, contestants must conquer these demanding “crossings” to take home a cash prize.

Frogger is produced by Eureka Productions in partnership with Konami Cross Media NY, Inc. Chris Culvenor and Paul Franklin will executive produce for Eureka Productions.

The Frogger competition show is an original format created by Chris Culvenor of Eureka Productions.
