Krispy Kreme and WBDGCP are launching a licensed Hungry for Heroes doughnut collection inspired by famous DC Super Heroes.
Available for a limited-time, the Hungry for Heroes doughnut collection features three designs based on Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman.
The Wonder Woman doughnut is an Original Glazed that is dipped in red raspberry icing and topped with white stars, blue sprinkles and a Wonder Woman logo and belt.
Inspired by Superman, the first doughnut is an unglazed shell variety with a white Kreme filling, light blue icing, buttercreme clouds, a sprinkle blend and an exclusive Superman decoration.
The Batman themed treat is made with an unglazed shell doughnut with Cookies & Kreme filling, a black chocolate icing dip and a Bat emblem decoration.
“We can’t promise you’ll reach Superman, Batman or Wonder Woman level by bringing a dozen doughnuts to the office or your next get-together, but you will be a hero,” said Krispy Kreme chief growth officer, Dave Skena.
In addition, participating Krispy Kreme locations will be running a special promotion during San Diego Comic-Con that offers a free Hungry for Heroes doughnut to customers costumed as DC Super Heroes.
The officially licensed doughnuts are available individually, as well as in a custom-designed dozens box with art of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.
The licensed DC Super Hero doughnuts are available for purchase through Krispy Kreme’s e-commerce app, website and in-store retail locations.
The collection can also be acquired as a six-pack box through select grocery retailers.
