Fanattik has secured a multi-year agreement with the Netflix streaming platform for licensed merchandise based on popular Netflix series.
Licensed products featuring the Netflix Original series Stranger Things, The Witcher and One Piece will be distributed to retailers in the UK, Europe and internationally beginning in Q2 2024.
“Both Fanattik and Netflix focus on the fans, we have been creating fan-favourite products for over 15 years and with so much synergy between us, this agreement feels like the natural partnership for both companies,” said Fanattik MD, Anthony Marks.
Fanattik is an international gift and collectibles company that creates and distributes licensed products for pop-culture entertainment franchises.
The company’s limited-edition collections include high-quality products in the categories of homeware, games, bundle boxes, accessories, and more.
In addition to Netflix, Fanattik serves as an official licensing partner for companies such as Konami, Microsoft, Capcom, Bethesda, Universal Studios, Hasbro, Paramount Studios, Asmodee and more.
This long-term partnership with Netflix marks Fanattik’s first licensing agreement with a streaming service.
“The entire design team including myself are such huge fans of Netflix, we intend to pour a lot of passion into every piece we create,” said Fanattik CD, Melissa Tudor.
Stranger Things is a science-fiction horror franchise that focuses on a fictional American town that is plagued by monsters from an alternate dimension called the Upside Down.
Created by the Duffer Brothers for Netflix, Stranger Things currently includes four seasons and has been featured in numerous licensing collaborations since its initial release.
The Witcher is a Netflix Original fantasy show that is based on a book series of the same name by Andrzej Sapkowski.
Created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, The Witcher takes place in a medieval kingdom called the Continent. The story follows Geralt of Rivia, Cirilla of Cintra, and Yennefer of Vengerberg as they face off against powerful magical forces.
One Piece is a live-action Netflix Original adaptation of a manga series by Eiichiro Oda.
One Piece follows a fictional pirate crew as they embark on an action-packed and humorous quest for a legendary treasure that will make their captain, the King of the Pirates.
Netflix is a global subscription video streaming platform that features both original and licensed content across a wide variety of genres.
Owned and operated by the US-based media company Netflix, Inc, the Netflix streaming platform is currently available worldwide excluding Russia, North Korea, China, and Syria.
