Old World Christmas has announced four new licensing partnerships for its hand-blown and hand-crafted glass ornaments.
The new licensees for the holiday ornament brand include General Mills, Hasbro’s Wizards of the Coast, The J.M. Smucker Company and Cloudco Entertainment’s Strawberry Shortcake.
“Our ornaments are all about memories and storytelling,” said Old World Christmas CEO, Neal Applefeld. “These four new partners span across decades of fans, and help capture memories of everything from breakfast in front of the TV on Saturday mornings to favorite characters to after school snacks,” added Applefeld. “We hope that not only will people be able to reminisce, but also introduce them to their kids and families.”
For General Mills, Old World Christmas is developing nine new ornaments based on popular licensed food and snack brands from the company’s portfolio.
These brands include Totino’s Pizza Rolls, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Cheerios, Pillsbury Doughboy, Trix, Betty Crocker Gingerbread Mix and the Big Red Cookbook.
For its partnership with Wizards of the Coast, the company’s team is creating an officially licensed ornament inspired by the Black Lotus Card from the Magic: The Gathering tabletop gaming brand.
For the J.M. Smucker Company, Old World Christmas is developing ornaments that are based on its Smucker’s Strawberry Jam and Jif Peanut Butter labels.
As a new partner for Cloudco Entertainment’s Strawberry Shortcake entertainment brand, the company is creating two new ornaments that showcase Strawberry Shortcake with her cat Custard, as well as a Strawberry Shortcake lunchbox.
The new collection of licensed ornaments will be released in time for the 2025 holiday season through the Old World Christmas website and retail stores across the U.S.
Founded in 1979, Old World Christmas is a design and manufacturing company that offers an extensive collection of over 1,700 proprietary ornament styles.
