Punchbowl has partnered with Warner Bros Discovery for a digital invitation collection based on licensed DC Super Heroes, FRIENDS, and Harry Potter characters.
The design of the co-branded invitations are intended to match the appearance and visual texture of traditional paper letters, envelope liners, postage stamps and greetings.
A subsidiary of the Sincere Corporation, Punchbowl is a software company that provides customized online invitations, digital greeting cards, and party planning services.
The services provided by Punchbowl are available through the company’s official website and mobile apps for both iOS and Android.
The licensed digital invitation collection will feature a wide selection of characters and images that are owned by Warner Bros. Discovery such as Batman, Hogwarts School, Wonder Woman, Superman, Hedwig, and The Flash.
The partnership with Punchbowl was secured by Warner Bros’ dedicated licensing division, Warner Bros Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP).
“We are thrilled to work with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to bring these characters to our online invitations and digital greeting cards,” said Sincere Corporation CEO, Matt Douglas. “The magic and adventure of a celebration begins with the invitation, and we’re excited to offer fans invites that perfectly match birthday themes inspired by these iconic franchises.”
The options included in the licensing collaboration will allow the use of advanced Punchbowl personalization features that enable consumers to customize their invitations, quickly send it via email or text, track RSVPs and add additional planning features such as guest polls and gift registries.
In the coming weeks, Punchbowl intends to debut a Warner Bros Discovery Christmas invitation collection inspired by holiday films like Elf, A Christmas Story, The Polar Express and Frosty the Snowman.
The Warner Bros Discovery licensing partnership further extends the Punchbowl platform’s extensive portfolio of licensed character IPs.
The company currently holds the rights to over 650 character IPs from a wide range of entertainment companies.
Partnering with licensees from around the world, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products expands the company’s entertainment brands and franchises through multi-category licensing partnerships.
WBDGCP partners with licensees in categories such as toys, fashion, home décor and publishing for Warner Bros.’ properties across film, TV, animation, and gaming platforms.
