Just when you thought fashion and food couldn’t get any more deliciously weird, you can now wear your doughnuts … on your feet.
The sweet but surreal collaboration sees the partners collaborating on the release of limited-edition Krispy Kreme x Crocs Classic Clogs.
The sugary-soled shoes will be available starting August 5 in adult sizes via Crocs stores, crocs.com, and select retailers. Each pair comes with a design fresh out of the glazer, with oversized ‘Jibbitz’ charms from the Original Glazed doughnut and Hot Light, plus two swappable toe caps in chocolate or strawberry icing, complete with sprinkles.The pivoting heel strap features the Krispy Kreme logo.
“It’s been so much fun working with Crocs to create what might be the sweetest Classic Clogs yet,” said Alison Holder, Chief Brand and Product Officer at Krispy Kreme. “Fans of both our brands expect the unexpected, and this collab is next level.”
Crocs’ Chief Brand Officer Terence Reilly doubled down on the partners’ sugar high.
“We’re serving up style that’s glazed with personality and sprinkled with style,” Reilly said. “Because when it comes to self-expression, we doughnut hold back.”
Each limited-edition pair comes packaged in a custom Krispy Kreme dozens box, ideal for anyone who has ever opened one hoping for a dozen doughnuts, and found shoes instead.
To celebrate the launch, Krispy Kreme is also releasing a Crocs Special Dozen of doughnuts inspired by the clogs themselves. They include Original Glazed, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, and Strawberry Iced with Sprinkles. Those boxes are available August 4–10 at participating shops, and through the Krispy Kreme app and website.
If that’s not enough sugar for your sole, fans who wear Crocs to Krispy Kreme on August 9 will receive a free Original Glazed doughnut, ensuring your snack matches your shoes.
