The London Studio, a U.K.-based art licensing and design company, announced that members of its Artists Collective have won multiple honors at the world’s two major greeting card awards.
Those include multiple awards at the recent U.S. Greeting Card Association’s Louie Awards and finalist spots at the upcoming Henries Awards in the United Kingdom.
The Artists Collective supplied seven of the winning entries at the 36th Louie Awards, held July 27 at the Las Vegas World Market Expo. The event is considered one of the premier honors in the U.S. greeting card industry, with winners chosen by a panel of retailers, buyers, media representatives and other industry professionals.
Winners from the Artists Collective included:
-
Lucy Loves Paper in the Celebrating Latinx Culture category
-
Kwohtations in three categories: Friendship/Encouragement – Humorous, Romantic Occasions and Sympathy
-
Darling Lemon in the Romantic Occasions category
-
Mifkins in the Thank You category
-
Fine Moments in the Birthday – Small Company category
Several other members of the Artists Collective were recognized as finalists, including Kat French and Darling Lemon. Darling Lemon’s work has also inspired a line of planners carried by U.S. retailer Barnes & Noble.

The London Studio is also very active in a variety of licensing categories, and is frequently covered in The Licensing Letter and similar publications for its innovative work that inspires a wide range of consumer products.
This latest recognition comes as the greeting card industry prepares for the October Henries Awards in London, where the Artists Collective is represented in eight finalist categories. Those include nominations for Best Diversity and Inclusion Range, Best Humor Range, Best Christmas Counter Range and Best Children’s Range.
The Henries, widely regarded as the top awards in the U.K. greeting card sector, will announce winners Oct. 2 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
Soula Zavacopoulos, founder of The London Studio and a committee member of Cards For All, a nonprofit promoting diversity and inclusivity in the greeting card market, said the recognition highlights the group’s versatility.
“It’s an absolute delight to see so many of our Artists Collective friends in the U.S. and U.K. recognized by the most important greeting card awards in the world,” Zavacopoulos said. “We’re still celebrating success in the Louies and hope to have even more success to look forward to in October.”
The London Studio formed the Artists Collective in 2023 to support and collaborate with independent artists around the world. The company licenses artwork and designs products for international retailers, corporations and nonprofits.
