Anthem Publishing the Official Pinch of Nom Magazine

September 5, 2024

The Point.1888 has brokered a partnership between Anthem Publishing and the Pinch of Nom food brand for an official Pinch of Nom magazine.
Pinch of Nom (PON) is a healthy eating and recipe brand that was launched in 2016 by Kate and Kay Allinson. The culinary brand focuses on providing its readers with healthy recipes, advice and support through its online blog and community.
“Kate and I are both so proud of this magazine,” said Pinch of Nom co-founder, Kay Allinson. “It’s the first time we’ve had somewhere to shout in print about how amazing and inspiring our incredible community is.”
The official Pinch of Nom magazine from Anthem Publishing features 116 pages of food-focused content including recipes, stories from the PON community, cooking advice and essentials.
The magazine contains a total of 30 different recipes, as well as an exclusive preview of the dishes that will be featured in Pinch Of Nom’s upcoming cookbook, All in One.

“When we agreed on the licensing strategy with the Pinch of Nom team we knew that if we were going to extend the brand values authentically into a magazine it was imperative that the content reflected their community,” said The Point.1888 director, Katie Wilkinson. “This is not just a food magazine, but it is a genuine and very real extension of the much-loved PON brand,” added Wilkinson. “I first worked with Anthem over 20 years ago and knew from the off that they were the right partner for this extension – I’m thrilled to see this come to life.”
Founded in 2002, Anthem Publishing is a UK-based media company that specializes in publishing lifestyle magazines that focus on healthy eating, emotional well-being and physical health.
“When we were first approached to publish the official Pinch of Nom magazine, we instantly knew it was the right fit for us,” said Anthem deputy MD, Sally FitzGerald. “We were big fans of PON already, and their ethos fits perfectly with ours as we’re both so passionate about helping people to cook in healthier ways. Just six months previously we’d launched our Healthy Eating series at newsstand, which was gaining popularity really quickly, and this was the perfect home for the first issue of Pinch of Nom Magazine,” added FitzGerald. “It’s been an incredible experience working with the team on the magazine and I think it is a great combination of the brand’s much-loved recipe content alongside getting to hear the amazing stories from members of their community, plus lots of advice from Kate, Kay and the whole team. We hope everyone loves it as much as we do.”
The licensed Pinch of Nom magazine is currently available for purchase at grocers, convenience stores, high street shops, travel retailers and independent newsstands throughout the UK as part of Anthem’s Healthy Eating magazine series.
