Acamar Films has partnered with the Valli di Sole, Peii and Rabbi Tourism Board to feature its Bing children’s series in a licensed skiing initiative.

Facilitated by Maurizio Distefano Licensing, the partnership will bring the licensed characters, Bing and Flop, to three skiing parks within the Folgarida Marilleva area for a promotional event.

“We are excited to have brought this project to life,” said Maurizio Distefano. “Bing is a character that resonates deeply with Italian families, and we are sure that this initiative will offer an engaging and unforgettable experience for all ages.”

The promotional event will include an array of family-friendly Bing-themed activities and events through the skii park’s various chalets, libraries and clubs.

The activities will include children’s books, coloring pages, music and meet-in-greet events that feature licensed characters from the Bing animated series.

“We are delighted to collaborate with the Val di Sole Tourism Board to create an unforgettable experience for young children and their families,” said Acamar Films director, Kirsty Southgate. “This partnership offers us a unique opportunity to engage with families in an exciting new way, bringing the world of Bing to a stunning location,” added Southgate. “We look forward to seeing the joy this collaboration will bring to children and their families.”

Taking place from March 22 to April 6, the three destinations will offer free skiing visits, lessons, equipment rentals and activities for children aged three to six for the duration of the event. Discounted rates will also be available for older siblings.

“We are thrilled to launch this partnership with Acamar Films and bring the beloved Bing character to life in our region,” said Val di Sole Tourism Board manager, Fabio Sacco. “This collaboration enables us to offer a unique and incredibly fun experience for all families visiting Val di Sole. We are confident that this Bing-themed event will enhance the appeal of our family-friendly parks and create truly memorable moments for our youngest visitors.”

Bing is an animated preschool TV series that is based on an original book series by Ted Dewan. Produced by Acamar Films and Brown Bag Films, the series follows a young bunny named Bing and his carer Flop as they learn everyday life lessons.

In addition to the animated series, the Bing franchise offers content through a wide selection of movies, books, magazines, apps, products, digital media, live shows and experiences.

Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009, Val di Sole is located in northwestern Trentino between the mountain of Ortles Cevedale, Adamello Presanella and the Brenta Dolomites.
