The Bulldog Licensing agency has been appointed to manage Pinch of Nom’s licensing program in the UK and Ireland.
Pinch of Nom (PON) is a healthy eating blog and recipe brand that was launched in 2016 by Kate and Kay Allinson.
The UK-based culinary brand focuses on providing its readers with healthy recipes, advice and support through its online community, published cookbooks and blog content.
“Our aim was simply to offer advice on slimming-friendly food that actually tastes good, but the success of Pinch of Nom has exceeded even our wildest expectations,” said Pinch of Nom co-founder, Kay Allinson. “With demand now growing to take the brand into new areas, we’re thrilled to have the support and expertise of Bulldog Licensing to expand Pinch of Nom into a wide range of categories that will complement and enhance the online and publishing presence it has already established.”
Leveraging the distinctive aesthetic of the Pinch of Nom brand, the licensing campaign will target a wide range of consumer segments across utensils, cooking products, small kitchen appliances, tableware, storage, gifts, publishing and more.
The initial focus for the program will be on branded kitchenware and cooking appliances.
This includes small appliances like air fryers, slow cookers and pressure cookers, as well as utensils and tools like measuring jugs, scales, cutting boards, containers, tableware.
An additional focus for the program will be sauces, spices, condiments and food delivery services inspired by the culinary brands’ emphasis on offering flavorful options for healthy eating.
“There has always been a market for what Kate and Kay call ‘healthy recipes that don’t taste like diet food’, but the success of Pinch of Nom has taken this to another level,” said Bulldog Licensing brand manager, Sophie Yates. “A combination of humour, creativity, joy and approachability, not to mention a distinctive and colorful identity and fantastic recipes, has built a popular book and blog that is perfectly positioned to becoming an equally popular brand.”
The Pinch of Nom brand already has three licensees on board for its consumer products program.
These existing partners include Caterers Choice for licensed jelly, Danilo for calendars and greeting cards and The Flava People for seasonings and sauces.
Founded in 2007, Bulldog Licensing is a European brand management agency that works with its clients to develop comprehensive consumer products programs for the international and domestic markets.
The agency’s diverse roster of clients includes well-known properties like Care Bears, Sesame Street, Attitude, Popeye, Mass Effect, KIDZ BOP, Tamagotchi, Dragon Age and many more.
