TeamTO has announced several new licensing and distribution initiatives to complement the upcoming release of Jade Armor’s second season.
Jade Armor is a family-friendly TV series and entertainment property that follows a young girl who must fulfill her destiny as a mythical superhero. The production of Jade Armor’s second season is currently underway with the official launch planned for early in 2025.
“With a season two we are very excited about diving deeper into the characters’ story arcs and personal journeys, which make them so endearing,” said TeamTO executive producer, Corinne Kouper. “Jade Armor is a series which, as well as being spectacular and funny, focuses on what it’s like to be a teenager today.”
TeamTO and its distribution manager, APC Kids, have secured broadcasting partnerships with multiple TV networks and VOD platforms across the globe.
The roster of broadcasting and streaming partners for Jade Armor currently includes SUPER RTL in Germany, Youko in China, Warner Bros Discovery in EMEA, ABC in Australia, RTBF in Belgium, France Télévisions in France, DR in Denmark, PCWW in Hong Kong and Macau, and Téléquébec, Wildbrain and SRC in Canada.
In addition, TeamTO has concrete plans for a Jade Armor licensing program with upcoming collaborations spanning publishing, toys, video games and more.
TeamTO has already started to initiate negotiations with several potential licensing partners for the Jade Amor IP.
“We have been in talks about a video game for consoles and PC with Plug In Digital, our partner on the many successful Angelo Rules’ games; development of the game should begin very soon,” said TeamTO director, Patricia de Wilde. “We have also initiated discussions with toy manufacturers and publishers together with licensing partners in Germany and France. We have a style guide with beautiful designs for Jade’s armor and the Beasticons, ideal for games, toys, costumes, plush, publishing, stationery, and promotions. The aim is to have the first product ranges in stores by the end of 2025.”
