Global Merchandising Services Expands Ozzy Osbourne Licensing Program

Global Merchandising Services has signed a roster of new licensing partners for Ozzy Osbourne ahead of the rockstar’s farewell concert.

The expanded licensing program will support the lead-up to the upcoming all-day music show, Back to the Beginning, which will take place on July 5 in Birmingham, UK.

Osbourne’s farewell concert will see Black Sabbath’s original lineup reunite for the first time in 20 years, as they play alongside other rock legends such as Metallica, Alice in Chains Tool, Lamb of God, Guns N’ Roses and more.

“This is going to be a very emotional show for me,” said Osbourne. “How lucky am I that I get to share the stage one last time with many of the friends I’ve known and toured with throughout my career and do it in the city where it all began? And especially, to be able to say goodbye and thank my fans, who are the ones that gave me this unbelievable life, means more to me than anything. This is my way of giving them one last epic night of madness. We’ve also got some amazing new merch from Global Merchandising that I know you’re going to love, including some limited-edition items,” added Osbourne. “Get ready, Birmingham—this is going to be legendary!”

Global Merchandising Services has already secured over 40 licensing partners for the brand actoss numerous product categories and retail platforms.

The roster of global merchandise partners includes Lugz, Zippo, The Great Frog, Funko, McFarlane Toys, Fantoons, Displate, Perris, Other UK, Razamataz and Rubber Road.

Region-specific licensees have also been secured across North America and areas in Europe.

The new North American partners for Ozzy Osbourne includes Castline, Chaser, Philcos, Magnolia Pearl, Goodie Two Sleeves and Desert Cactus.

In Europe, Low Frequency has signed on for apparel in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, as well as Kids-Fanshop for Austria, Germany, Switzerland.

Ozzy Osbourne merchandise will be available through several major retail partnerships with Hot Topic, Spencer’s and Old Navy stores in North America and at Primark, EMP, Asda, Boohoo, Only & Sons and ASOS/Topman stores across Europe.

“Ozzy Osbourne is a rock icon whose influence spans generations,” said Global Merchandising Services SVP, Lisa Streff. “We are thrilled to expand his licensing program with top-licensees and retailers who will bring fans an incredible range of products as we celebrate his legendary career this year.”
