Dr. Seuss Enterprises has announced the promotion of Ellie Terveen to Executive Vice President, Operations, as the company continues its recent expansion.
Dr. Seuss has reported rapid growth in recent years across the categories of publishing, consumer products, education, and entertainment. In her new role, Terveen will lead strategic financial planning, oversee IT integration, and drive digital transformation initiatives to support the company’s evolving business goals.
Terveen previously served as Vice President of Operations, managing global licensing, publishing, retail, and digital operations. President and CEO Susan Brandt says her promotion reflects both her impact on the company’s operational evolution, and Dr. Seuss Enterprises’ focus on scaling its iconic intellectual property for a new generation of audiences.
“Ellie Terveen has been a driving force behind our operational evolution, blending strategic thinking with a deep understanding of the brand.”
Prior to joining the company, Terveen held leadership roles in global retail operations at adidas, bringing over 20 years of experience in retail strategy, analytics, and business operations.
Terveen says she’s excited to continue this story of growth and expansion at Dr. Seuss, a publishing property that has grown into a top global licensing franchise.
“This next chapter at Dr. Seuss Enterprises is an exciting one, and I’m honored for the opportunity to continue to lead our operational strategy during a time of such dynamic growth,” said Terveen.
Founded in 1993, Dr. Seuss Enterprises is not just a licensing giant, but a major charitable organization. It supports a wide range of charitable causes related to education, science, health, animal conservation, and the arts, using all profits to benefit partner organizations.
