Gamefam and Spin Master Bring Monster Jam Back to Roblox

October 25, 2024

By Allison Watkinson

TLL Reporter

Gamefam and Spin Master are bringing licensed Monster Jam content to the Car Dealership Tycoon Roblox game for the third consecutive year.

This year’s Car Dealership Tycoon x Monster Jam takeover will allow players to access a variety of limited-edition in-game features, including exclusive Monster Jam-inspired gameplay modes, truck models and user-generated content (UGC).

The Car Dealership Tycoon x Monster Jam play modes include a new freestyle mode within a Monster Jam-inspired stadium, as well as an in-game Monster Jam dealership that will be themed after the Monster Jam World Finals Racing champion, JCB DIGatron.

The collaboration will also allow Roblox players to race with 18 officially licensed Monster Jam truck varieties within Gamefam’s Car Dealership Tycoon.

The Monster Jam-themed user-generated content offered for the licensing collaboration will include unlockable character customization items such as backpacks, racetrack hats and more.

“We’re continuously exploring innovative ways for fans to engage with the action-packed Monster Jam experience outside of the arena and the toy aisle,” said Spin Master VP, Mark Morse.

“Through our collaboration with Gamefam, we’ll meet our community by delivering immersive experiences in Roblox, a place where fans love to hang out and play,” added Morse. “This year’s activation features 18 iconic Monster Jam trucks, including some highly anticipated new releases that will arrive just in time for the holiday season.”

The licensed Monster Jam integration is part of a longstanding collaborative partnership between Gamefam and Spin Master.

The companies previously worked together to feature the Hatchimals toy brand in Gamefam’s Twilight Daycare game, create the Bakugan Brawl Simulator on Roblox and premiere Spin Master’s Unicorn Academy within Twilight Daycare.

“Over the last three years, we have partnered with Spin Master to create some of the most innovative and successful Roblox programs building buzz with Gen Z & Alpha for their world-class IP,” said Gamefam CBO, Ricardo Briceno. “Monster Jam is a perfect example of this partnership, coming for the third year in a row to Car Dealership Tycoon to engage and excite millions of players ahead of the holidays.”

Beginning on October 26, 2024, the licensed Monster Jam activation within Car Dealership Tycoon will be available to play for free on the Roblox platform through gaming consoles, PCs, mobile devices and tablets.

Established in 2019 as the first professional Roblox developer, Gamefam is a metaverse media development company that partners with brands and IP owners to create digital games, promotional campaigns, online concerts and more.

The company currently operates a portfolio of more than 30 games through Roblox, Fortnite and additional metaverse platforms.

Serving as the master toy partner for Monster Jam worldwide, Spin Master is an entertainment company that creates family-friendly toys, multi-platform media content and digital games for audiences across the globe.
