The children’s animated megahit Blippi is getting its own dedicated channel on Samsung TV Plus, Moonbug Entertainment has announced.
Moonbug, a part of Candle Media, revealed it has created the first free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel for all things Blippi.
Blippi is among the two most popular shows produced by Moonbug, and has also consistently been one of the top children’s shows on both YouTube and Netflix. As reported in the What We Watched report from Netflix, Blippi was among the streamer’s 10 most watched children’s shows.
That popularity has convinced Moonbug it’s time for an all-Blippi channel, making it easier for kids and families to find their favorite content, says Dan’l Hewitt, head of Global Partnerships.

“The way families enjoy entertainment today is evolving. So we’re thrilled to launch our first free, 24/7 ad-supported streaming channel on Samsung TV Plus,” said Dan’l Hewitt, Head of Global Partnerships at Moonbug Entertainment. “New and existing fans now have a new way to join Blippi’s adventures.”
The 24/7 channel is now available exclusively on Samsung TV Plus in the US, but is also coming soon to Canada. Fans can watch more than 55 hours of Blippi content on Samsung TV Plus, which is available on a variety of Samsung devices including Smart TVs, Galaxy phones and tabliets, smart monitors, Family Hub refrigerators, and more.
The service is free and will be supported entirely by advertising, Hewitt said. “Demand for high-impact, compliant connected television advertising continues to grow, so Moonbug will take the advertising media to market for brands and agencies for the channel,” he said.
While Moonbug has not mentioned similar plans for its other content, it would not be surprising to see a similar program launched for series like CoComelon or Little Angel.
CoComelon is currently, by far, the most streamed kids’ series on Netflix, and also ranked eighth overall for all content on the streamer. Little Angel, like Blippi, is also among the top 10 kids series on Netflix.
