Popup Bagels has entered a licensing partnership with Frank’s RedHot for a spicy limited-edition RedHot Butter Spread.
The partnership between Popup Bagels and Frank’s RedHot was managed by the marketing activation agency, Gamma Communications Inc.
Popup Bagels is a specialty bagel and schmear brand that was initially founded in 2020 by Adam Goldberg to craft the best bagel recipe ever.
The start-up company’s bagel recipe achieved viral status on several social media platforms due to its high-quality flavor and texture profile.
The exclusive and limited-edition Popup Bagel x RedHot Butter Spread product features flavors inspired by the classic Frank’s RedHot sauce and Buffalo chicken wing sauce. Promoted as a perfect game day snack, the RedHot licensing collaboration officially launched on Feb. 11 to coincide with the Super Bowl LVIII football game at Allegiant Stadium.
The Popup Bagel x RedHot Butter Spread is exclusively available at Popup Bagels locations across the U.S. and is currently available to pre-order through the official Popup Bagels website for both pick-up and limited nationwide delivery.
Frank’s RedHot is a long-standing hot sauce brand that released its first product, the Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce, back in 1920. The brand now offers several food-based products including Original Cayenne Pepper sauce, Buffalo Wings sauce, Queso Dip seasoning mix, Buffalo Ranch seasoning, Frozen Buffalo Wings and more.
The rights to the Frank’s RedHot brand is owned by the global food seasoning manufacturer, McCormick & Company (MKC).
