Sarah J. Maas has named IMG Licensing as the exclusive consumer products representative for her fantasy novel franchises.
Under the terms of the multi-year deal, IMG Licensing will develop and manage a comprehensive licensing program that spans the author’s entire fictional universe.
This includes popular romantic fantasy book series like A Court of Thorns and Roses, Throne of Glass and Crescent City.

Maas and her extraordinary literary worlds is an incredible honor,” said IMG Licensing VP, Samantha Chang. “Together, Sarah and her fans have created a cultural phenomenon that has redefined fantasy fiction. We’re excited to launch a dynamic and carefully curated licensing program that offers fans meaningful new ways to celebrate the characters and stories they love.”
As Sarah J. Maas’ official licensing representative, IMG will work to extend the author’s characters and stories across a wide range of multi-category consumer product partnerships.
The agency will be seeking potential licensees across numerous categories such as apparel, beauty, lifestyle, home décor, wine, liquor, food, beverages, toys, games, collectibles and costumes.
In addition to licensed products, IMG will be working to develop partnerships to create immersive live experiences that cater to fans of the author’s fictional worlds.
Sarah J. Maas is an influential author who specializes in detailed fantasy worlds, layered characters and compelling storytelling to resonate with audiences around the globe.
Throughout her literary career, Maas has created 16 full-length novels, 1 novella and 3 companion books that have sold over 70 million English copies worldwide and been translated into 38 languages.
