Stumptown Coffee and Laika have partnered up for a Coraline-inspired collaboration that will include licensed products, themed menu items and in-person experiences.
Founded in 2005, Laika is an animation and film production studio that specializes in producing high-quality animated films using a mixture of traditional stop-motion and 3D-CGI animation techniques.
Since its initial founding, the Laika studio has launched five animated feature films including Coraline, ParaNorman, The Boxtrolls, Kubo and the Two Strings and Missing Link.
“Our friends at Laika are kindred spirits with similar core values as Stumptown Coffee,” said Stumptown Coffee director, Hanna Boone. “We believe in being the best in our crafts, pushing the limits when it comes to what we create and we both love our home base of Portland, Oregon. Being able to collaborate to celebrate the continued success of Coraline has been a creative dream and we are excited to have it come to life in our cafes and cans all over the country.”
The licensed products from Stumptown Coffee will include Coraline-inspired mugs, totes, stickers and a special-edition cold brew coffee can.
