Hippo Blue Launches New Disney Collections

May 28, 2025

Hippo Blue and Disney Consumer Products are teaming up for new licensed collections inspired by Star Wars and Lilo & Stitch.

The new Hippo Blue collections offer a range of customizable products that feature imagery from the two Disney film franchises.

Debuted on May 4, the limited-edition Star Wars collection includes personalized back-to-school products that feature brightly colored lightsabers and Darth Vader’s silhouette over a dark nightscape.

The items offered in the Star Wars product line include bags, bento boxes, drinkware and stickers.

“We’re incredibly proud to launch this Star Wars-themed collection,” said Hippo Blue CEO, Aldo Burcheri. “At Hippo Blue, we believe in celebrating individuality, and this collaboration lets fans celebrate their love for Star Wars in a way that’s uniquely their own,” added Burcheri. “This range has something for every fan, whether young or young at heart, making it a truly special way to celebrate May the 4th.”

Designed to promote the launch of the live-action Lilo & Stitch movie, Hippo Blue has released its first licensed collection for adults.

The Lilo & Stitch collection features a personalized adult-sized travel coffee mug and matching water bottle that come in a colorfully branded box for an easy gifting option.

Brokered by Born to License on behalf of Hippo Blue, the new Disney collections are an extension of the companies previous product collaborations, which debuted at retail in 2024.

“We’re thrilled to see this collaboration come to life in time for the global celebration of May the 4th and for the Lilo & Stitch launch,” said Born to License CEO, David Born. “The Hippo Blue team has done an incredible job combining the power of personalization with some of the most iconic franchises in the world. It’s a great example of how licensing can deliver unique, high-quality products that fans will love.”

In addition to the licensed collections, Hippo Blue is also prominently featuring their Disney collaboration during the company’s annual ‘Name Day’ campaign.

Designed to promote the company through targeted ads and social media marketing, the Name Day initiative offers free name labels to customers that match the currently announced name.

This encourages family and friends to share online when one of their friend’s names is featured in the promotional event.

The licensed Star Wars and Lilo & Stitch collections are available for purchase through Hippo Blue’s dedicated e-commerce website.

A division of Disney Experiences, Disney Consumer Products (DCP) brings the company’s brands and franchises to life through products like toys, clothing, apps, books, console games and more.

Owned and operated in Australia, Hippo Blue is a manufacturing company and personalized product brand that offers an extensive range of customizable accessories for travel, back-to-school, gifting and more.

Hippo Blue branded products are manufactured using durable, eco-friendly and sustainably sourced materials.

Born to License is a full-service brand management agency that helps its clients build comprehensive licensing and expansion programs.
