It’s ‘Smoothie Sailing’ for Jamba x Jel Sert Beverage Collaboration

April 16, 2025

By Gary Symons

TLL Editor in Chief

In a juicy move shaking up the beverage aisle, The Jel Sert Company has teamed up with smoothie giant Jamba to launch Jamba Singles To Go!, a new line of powdered drink sticks inspired by Jamba’s iconic smoothie flavors.

This collaboration marks Jamba’s first foray into the fast-growing stick-pack drink category, delivering the brand’s signature taste in a portable, ready-to-mix format.

The new product line features three fan-favorite flavors—Razzmatazz, Strawberries Wild, and Mango-A-Go-Go—each bringing more than just fruity flair. Packed with functional benefits, the Singles To Go! options support either energy or immune health, aligning with today’s trend toward “better-for-you” beverage choices.

Jel-Sert’s state of the art production facility in the U.S. has made it a leader in the single-stick beverage business.

“This launch is more than just a new product line; it’s a blend of bold flavor and real function,” said Amy Pagels, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Jel Sert. “We’ve mixed our formulation expertise with Jamba’s flavor legacy to create something that truly stirs up the hydration category—without synthetic colors or artificial sweeteners.”

Formulated with just 30 calories per stick and no artificial additives, Jamba Singles To Go! offers a dose of vitamins A, C, E, and zinc to help support the immune system. Each serving contains only 30 calories and no synthetic colors or artificial sweeteners, catering directly to the increasing consumer preference for beverage options with fewer additives. For those on the go who need an extra kick, Mango-A-Go-Go is energized with green tea extract, ginseng, and guarana for a natural boost.

Consumers can simply stir one stick into water for a quick splash of Jamba flavor, making them ideal for home, work, the gym, or wherever thirst strikes. Each six-pack box is available through Amazon and major national retailers.

Jamba, which currently operates more than 780 locations worldwide, sees this collaboration as a natural extension of its brand.

“Jamba Singles To Go! gives us a fresh way to connect with consumers beyond the smoothie bar,” said Dave Mikita, President of International & Retail Channels Licensing at GoTo Foods. “Together with Jel Sert, we’ve whipped up something that delivers both the flavor and quality our guests expect, with the convenience their busy lives demand.”

The partnership taps into a booming market. According to 2024 NielsenIQ Discover analytics, the global drink stick category is projected to reach nearly $5 billion by 2030, so this flavor-packed alliance is poised to shake things up for those who want nutrition and convenience in a single tiny package. .
