Social Media: Tik Tok Star Addison Rae Announces First Toy Line

Addison Rae, the fourth most popular social media star on Tok Tok, has announced her first toy line, in partnership with Bonkers Toys.

“I have dreamt of having my own doll line since I was a little girl,” said Rae. “I worked with Bonkers Toys on every detail of the dolls and toys to inspire young kids to dream big.”

In a deal brokered by agency IMG, Addison’s new collection will be available to pre-order from Walmart.com this week, and will soon be released in Walmart stores, on Amazon, and other retailers in the US, Australia and the UK.

“Addison Rae is an inspiration to her millions of followers around the world and we are delighted to have partnered her with Bonkers Toys to create her first-ever toy line, which we know her fans will love,” said Van Kokeh, IMG’s VP of Licensing.

The Louisiana native became a worldwide cultural phenomenon starting in 2019, gaining popularity through her engaging dance videos and southern charm, becoming one of the most popular accounts on the Tok Tok platform. Since then Rae has leveraged her success to become an actress, singer, business owner of her Item Beauty and Addison Rae Fragrance companies, and brand ambassador to Fortune 500 companies.

As of March 22, 2022, Rae has amassed over 87 million followers on TikTok, and in 2021, she released her debut single “Obsessed” and made her acting debut in the Netflix original film He’s All That, a gender-swapped remake of the 1999 film She’s All That.

The Addison Rae line features fashion dolls based on some of her most stylish looks, a music doll that plays pop music with creator-inspired accessories, fashion packs, trend-forward plush, mystery blind bags, and an ultimate surprise fashion doll set to be announced later this year.

The toy line also includes QR codes on each package which activate a personal message from Addison embracing body positivity and female entrepreneurship. Additionally, Bonkers Toys and Addison Rae will be supporting the non-profit organization, Girls Inc., to help further inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold in their lives.

“Working with Addison Rae and her team has been a thrill for us at Bonkers Toys,” said Bonkers Toys president & CEO, Brian Bonnett. “We have been inspired by all of the positivity she shares with her fans and can’t wait to bring the toys to retail.”

In an unusual addition to the deal, Addison Rae is adding a new title to her resume, taking on the title of Chief Fun Officer of Bonkers Toys.

Known for working with mega influencers in ground-breaking ways, Bonkers Toys says it welcomes Addison to the family with her extensive expertise in style, design, and social media marketing.
