Dollhouse Pictures and Foundation Media have launched a partnership to produce a licensed film adaptation of Anh Do’s bestselling novel series Wolf Girl.

“The Wolf Girl book series has brought joy to millions of children around the world,” said Anh Do. “This film adaptation will bring happiness to millions more. I’m absolutely delighted that the powerhouse Foundation Media and Dollhouse Pictures are teaming up with me to make this happen.”

First released in Australia by the Allen & Unwin publishing company, Wolf Girl is an adventure-thriller series that follows a young girl named Gwen who must learn to survive in the wilderness with her new family of canines after getting separated from her human parents.

Dollhouse Pictures co-founder and actor Rose Byrne.

The Wolf Girl novels are scheduled for launch in the U.S. market in March 2025 through HarperCollins Children’s Books.

“Anh Do’s storytelling is so compelling,” said Dollhouse Pictures co-founder, Rose Byrne. “It’s impossible not to get swept into the adventurous world of Gwen and her faithful canine friends. Themes of courage, resilience and friendship emerge across an epic landscape—these are wonderful aspirational characters who create a formidable family bond,” added Byrne. “I couldn’t be more excited to champion Wolf Girl’s transition to screen with my partners at Dollhouse, Foundation Media and HarperCollins.”

Dollhouse Pictures is a creative collective and independent production company that focuses on creating licensed adaptations of female-driven stories from music, art, fashion, and literature into high-quality film, TV and theater productions.

The Dollhouse Pictures company was co-founded by Rose Byrne, Shannon Murphy, Krew Boylan and Jessica Carrera, who all have extensive experience across the entertainment industry.

“We’re huge fans of Rose and the remarkable team she’s built at Dollhouse Pictures, including her creative partners Jessica Carrera and Krew Boylan,” said Foundation Media CEO and COO, Patrick Hughes and Harvey Russell. “We knew they would have a vision for the project, and they were our ideal partners. We couldn’t be more thrilled they not only loved the material but were already avid fans of Anh Do’s work and the Wolf Girl series. We cannot wait to collaborate with their team.”

Foundation Media Partners is an entertainment-focused brand management company that expands brands and IPs through licensed content across film, TV, art, music, publishing, digital media and more.
